I cannot make the video work on the sidebar. Tried to embed a Youtube clip but all i got was a blank box. Any suggestions?
Hi Paul, thanks for asking. Actually, I know about this problem. It’s not a bug actually. Here the solution.
1. First take this link as example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-VxYvfwVas
2. You know that this is a youtube video link. Originally you suppose to copy this link and just paste in the admin panel. But the Youtube link convention has change since before where before is like this:
http://www.youtube.com/v/7-VxYvfwVas
This is the need that will work with the current admin panel. I will update it in the future.
If you still confused, here step by step solution:
The original link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-VxYvfwVas
Remove ‘watch?v=‘ become like this
http://www.youtube.com/7-VxYvfwVas
Add ‘v/‘ after youtube.com/ (without quotation mark)
http://www.youtube.com/v/7-VxYvfwVas
Done!
